When can I audition?Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester but are also offered on a rolling basis. Look out for us at USC's Involvement Fair! Contact uscchamberballet@gmail.com for more details.
Is BCo only about ballet?No! We also regularly perform and choreograph modern and contemporary pieces. We love mixing up our showcases with different styles. Last spring, our showcase featured classical variations as well as pieces to songs such as "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol and "Hey Mami" by Sylvan Esso.
How big of a time commitment is BCo?BCo members have a lot of flexibility - not only literally, but in the sense that they can decide how much time they want to put in to BCo. Dancers can decide how many pieces they want to rehearse and perform in, which gives them the ability to control how big of a time commitment BCo will be. Members definitely don't feel like they are limited by BCo and have a wide range of other involvements on campus, from dance groups to professional clubs to volunteer organizations.
What skill level is required?All skill levels are welcome to audition!
